Our projects are a combination of TSR developed and those initiated in conjunction with a student organization.
Research Projects
Solar Panel NPV Analysis
January 2019 - January 2021
This report is centered around two main concepts. The first is in-depth cost analysis evaluating the return on investment if UGA were to self-purchase solar panels and install them on UGA buildings. The second is an examination of a PPA agreement at Emory University that would allow UGA to forgo the intensive capital investment required to purchase solar panels, yet still reap the benefits.
Athens Food Insecurity
August 2020 - May 2021
This project focuses on food insecurity in Athens by analyzing how low-income areas of Athens are affected by limited access to nutritious foods. We are mapping these areas to provide the Athens government and relevant nonprofits with additional data points on how they can guide appropriate resources.
UGA Project RED Analysis
This report is centered around increasing accessibility to women's products at UGA. We conducted an in-depth cost benefit and NPV analysis evaluating the return on investment if UGA were to self-fund free women's products and dispensers in UGA buildings. The second is an in depth analysis of period products and women's health, specifically looking at the impact of this in college and on campus. We also created a heat map of bathroom usage on campus.
